LAST LETTER

so this is the last email of the mission. i hope your excited because i am. well here are some stuff that im going to cover.
so the forth of July we went over to a lady's house for lunch we had shrimp and potato. it was pretty good but the lunch was kind of awkward all of the people there were old.  then for dinner we went to this family's house for watching the fire works and stuff. they are the tallest place in Cushing so the fire works were about eye level from  there. but it is still just a small hill. so were were over there watching the works. and they asked us if we wanted to launch off a couple. we told them we cant. and its against our rules. they said what ever and started lighting some off themselves. so about two in, one rocket flew sideways right into the neighbors field. it was funny at first and we were like good thing it didn't catch anything on fire. then one second latter there was smoke rising up from were it looked like it landed. the rocket landed in a grass field and caught fire.  the fire was only about two feet high but it burned about 500 feet around. the fire department came and put it out. which cost the family around 500 bucks. so if were went obedient and we would have lit that one off. we could have burned down the neighbors field and had to pay 500 bucks. o the blessings of obedience.
some other things that happened this week. was we taught this lady, she is old,  she is jumping around from church to church looking for a good church. so we taught her the plan of salvation she was just floored at what we taught. she loooved the spirit world and the three kingdoms. she was like this is what i have been looking for my whole life. it was great. so were like will you be baptized and she said yea i would love to be. so she will be baptized in august.
you know im glad i got to serve in this area my last transfer. it has been one of the best transfers of my mission. i thought it was going to suck opening up an area not knowing anything but it turned out to be super awesome. i love it.
so im coming home on Thursday you know that. its kind of scary. you know i have been here for so long that home is going to be new for me.
i guess that's it for this week i love you all so much. i will end with my testimony
that i know the savior lives i know he loves me and he loves each and every one of us. he is our lord and our redeemer. i know that the book of Mormon is the word of God it blesses me each and everyday and that i have come closer to God by reading its pages than any other book. i love it. i love the gospel i love to share it. i know that we have a prophet on the earth today. he is there as our guild. im so great full for the blessings in my life for all the blessing this mission has done for me. and all the things it will continue to do.
I love you all so much thanks for the support.

the cats meow

hello. hi. whats up. how are you doing. hola.
so sorry about last week. i guess the email didn't go through. but what ever. i sent it to you today so hopefully it goes thought this time.
and im glad you got the bike. yes the pieces are supposed to be missing. i took them off to save weight. and make it easy to ship. so they are in my suit case and will come home when i do. so dont worry.
yep so i guess i will give a recap on this week.
Monday we went up to the city to ship my bike home. the city is big lots of construction going on. and no place to park. we saw the bombing memorial. that was good. and plus were no longer in a drought so all the grass is green and the flower/ fountains are working. so it was better to see it this time. then we went to bass pro shop. that was fun but its not as good as cabelas. just saying. then we stop ed by a jewelry store because elder hort wanted to buy a new watch. but the one we went in was like the super high class watches and stuff. Rolex and Berlin. all of the watches there were like $10,000+  there was this one watch that was made by this super exclusive company. and the watch only cost about $51,000. that's it, pocket change. they said that the thunder come in the store all of the time to buy watches. and just the other day they had camron diaz come buy a watch. needless to say we didn't buy anything.
so the rest of the week has been looking better. we have had lots of work to do besides tracking. we did knock some doors but most of the week was trying diff rent people.
on Tuesday we taught this part member family the mom is a member but the rest of the family is not. she hasn't been to church in years so now the kids are like 20 and they haven't been able to here the Gospel yet. so we taught the son and he committed to baptism on the 27th  of july. so that will be great! then on Wednesday we tracked into this lady she had this huge tarantula on her door and she told us we could come back. so on friday we came back to teach her. and she was super solid like one of the best first lessons i have ever had. she was open. she said that if you close your mind of to any religion god cant tell you the truth. it was super awesome. we also committed her to baptism and she said yes but when we tryed to set a date. she said no because she will be out of town for like a month. dang maybe ladder gadder.
i taught on Friday for district meeting again. but this time i switched it up and we played a game on how to begin teaching. where if you have one of the bullet points memorized you got a point and then if you got it right then you got to soot a basket and if you got that you got a point. and who ever had the most points wins. i thought it could help them learn more. make it more interesting and keep them form not falling asleep.
after that we went on exchanges with the zone leaders. we had elder gleeve with us. he is super funny and cool. but because he is a zone leader he gets to drive around in a car all of the time so when we started biking he was super slow.
on Saturday we got this referral form one of our investigators. so we went over there and said a prayer with her. she is super ready to here the Gospel holy cow. she said she is looking to join another church. she had family die recently.  she needs service family is really important to her. just cool. so she needed some one to mow her lawn so we did it for her. it was super tall we had to chase off the tiger before we could get started. the mower kept dieing because the grass was like a foot and a half tall. but she was so great full. she was like no one has done something this nice for me in my whole life. (she must of had a crappy life) jk it was good.
Sunday was great. we had to teach. blah blah blah. you know im kind of sick of writing emails im not going to lie. i just want to speak to you all ready.
speak, speak to me our messages are instantly more than a hundred and sixty letter can say. (song by David Osmond)
its kind of the same thing with writing in my journal. the same kind of thing happens every day. just with different people. so it kind of get boring you know what im saying. but i guess that means nothing bad is happening. so i should be great full that im not wring to you about some one dieing or something.
well i guess thats it for this week. i love you with all my heart. you are the best family ever!
I know this Gospel is true. it is super awesome i love to share it.
i know it
i live it
i love it.

last weeks letter

so this week has been super crazy super insightful and super fun. I cant believe how awesome this week is.
so first off. if got permission to go down to the city and ship my bike home. so be looking for my bike sometime this week. or early next week.
yes I did see the missionary conference. it was super awesome. the whole ward council was there and they had the look of guilt on there face. it was funny. but it was such a cool conference what an experience. our mission was in there like three times. and a lot of the things that they were implementing was from our mission. so way to lead the way OKC! I just found out that our mission is doing the best in the region. highest baptism rate and everything. were like second in the nation right now. (not to be pride full)
this week I went to the temple for my final time of the mission. every departing mission gets to go before they leave. but its usually on there final day. but since the temple is closed for the next couple of weeks I got to go early. it was super great we got to do a session and then afterward we all got to ask the temple president questions about the church and temple and anything we wanted. about five minutes into the conversation my mind was blown. was what a great day. I love love love the temple. than after that I got an interview with president taylor and also sister Taylor. they just asked me what I was going to do when I get home and stuff. it kind of made me trunky because usually you don't get that until your final day. but because there leaving early they wanted to interview us before they leave.
sorry this email has to be short because there is only three computers and I need to share with my comp. so he can email to. plus he is not going home in like three weeks either. so I thought I would give him a chance. keep up the good work be good missionaries. and I will talk at you latter.
I haven't gotten any letters yet. so idk maybe they will come today.
Love you so very much

crazy crazy 57

Hello family
well i guess to start off. i love you and you are the best family ever! dad happy fathers day! if you were here i would hug you guess you will have to wait a month. did you do anything fun? did you get a cheese cake? (i know thats your favorite) it would be cool to call home on fathers day as well. but what ever. in elder kittermans brothers mission. if they only talked for a half an hour on mothers day then they could call for a half an hour on fathers day. me i like the phone calls and everything but its time to focus on the work. ynomsayen? (its, "you know what im saying" in one word. its an Oklahoma thing)
Sunday was the first time i have been to church in this area. its super crazy. and small. most of the people in the ward are old and older. the primary only has like 8 kids in it. and they are all like 10. the young men and the high priest quorum are the biggest in the ward. but its still good. and it was funny because even though there is only like 75 people there they still had 6 people pass the sacrament.
then in Gospel principles a old guy told me i need to be a better missionary and if i wanted to have any kind of successes in life i would be a bolder missionary. but the only reason he said that was because he thought i was only 18 and had just barely came out. so he was trying to scare me/fire me up for the rest of my mission. then he asked how long ive been out and i said 23 months and his face was like SHOCKING! it was funny. then he apologized after.
then that night we went to see this part member family and we weren't going to stop by because by the time we got around to seeing them it was like 8:45 so almost time to go in for the night. but we stop ed by anyways and they were like we were just about to call you and ask you to come over but we thought it was two late so we weren't going to do it. so prompted by the spirit. it was great.
Saturday we spent all day in the rain. my pants got super muddy. allong with the rest of my clothes. but thats ok it was worth it.
Friday was district meeting i gave a training on revelation through church attendance. elder kitterman said they just keep getting better and better. so i guess that's good. but who ever is striving for leadership as a missionary is dumb because its just more work to handle. less time to focus on investigators and more on your district.
so we went on exchanges. my first as a district leader. i went with elder stephen because i feel like he needs to have some time learning his area on his own. it was super hot that day and all of our appointments fell through. so we spent a total of 6 hours knocking on doors. and i probably lost a gallon of sweat. but people were nice that day so i got about ten water bottles form people.
Thursday normal missionary day. but we saw the other elder's car parked on the side of the road. in our area so we decided that since they were going to poach on our property we were going to get them back. so we stole there cds and camera and sunglasses out of there car. it was funny because they were like guess what we forgot to lock the car and someone stole all of our stuff. so we gave it back so its ok. (borrowed without permission)
Wednesday was the greeny meeting. it was super long. but really good. it was mostly about dont be an idiot. and dont flirt with the sisters. and they were telling stories about how missionaries were doing stupid stuff and how alot of them went home. they didnt mention anyone by name but i knew who most of the stories were about. they they told the story about five missionaries that wanted to do stupid stuff and one of them stood up to the rest of them and saved them all form going home. and im like hey thats me! it was cool because they were like we are so proud of that missionary and we want you all to be like him. (makes me all warm inside)
but on the way there we got lost. on the way back we got lost twice. so most of that day was spent getting lost. so moral of the story. get a map.
pday. we played Frisbee golf it was fun.
but thats about it for this week. is court in the house yet? how is the cat?
well i love you all so very much and i will talk at you latter.

New Area

hi family
so this week has been great. crazy but good. opening up a new area is hard, but fun. its like starting from scratch. we have been trying to introduce ourselves to every one in the ward. but its kind of hard. alot of people we cant get a hold of. and there is a ton of less active people in this ward.
so i guess i will start off with Monday. we had pday and pday here is like ten times better than altus. there is actually things to do and people to do it with. they have a community center here were the missionaries get in for free. so they have pool, a gym, basketball, racket ball, volleyball, and bowling. and there is also a Frisbee golf coarse. so plenty of things to do on preparation day. so on Monday we went bowling. it was fun i got second every time. so at least im consistent. then during bowling my back had a big pinch in it so i didn't think anything of it. until i got home and there was a tick on my back that had its head stuck into me. and all of that stupid stuff about put lotion on him and burn it that's a lie. we just ended up killing the tick so we just pulled it out. dang ticks.
Tuesday we just did alot of finding. because we have no one to teach. (ish) a brother in the Church came out with us and all of our appointment fell through so he wanted to see someone. and we ended up seeing this guy that had probably the third grossest house i have ever seen. and i didnt even go inside of it. you could just see the ticks and flea's crawling on the guys cats that he had on his front porch. but the guy was super nice and funny. he is just old and can't really take care of himself anymore. plus he is willing to give you anything and everything he's got. (which isnt alot)
Wednesday we helped with a service project we helped a member of the ward move about 500 pounds of lava rock out of his yard and into the trash can. so we just shoveled alot and as we were removing the rock is just got muddier and muddier. and we didn't have time to change out of our church clothes so we got those all muddy. good thing i got extras.
and most of the rest of the week we have just spent knocking doors. elder kitterman is pretty sick of it. but there is not really alot else to do. this is the way missionary work is so he better learn to like it.
Friday i had to give another training in district meeting. (uggh) i did it on the book of Mormon and how it is important for our investigators to learn from it and gain a testimony of it. im glad two out of the three people im teaching are new otherwise they would be super board out of there minds. but since this is there first transfer they don't know what a interesting district meeting is like yet.
we had the opportunity to teach a couple of fist lessons though to some of our investigators so Elder kitterman got that opportunity. he is a great teacher all ready he knows his stuff so that's good.
Sunday was this first time i have missed church in two years. the reason is someone needed help with the tornado clean up. so how the tornado clean up is working now is people put in work order of what they need help with and then we will go and help them out. and it turns out that the only day he was available was Sunday morning at around 8. so the whole zone went up to help along with about 100 ward members. it was crazy i feel like a less active missionary.
but that's about it for this week i love you all so very much and i will talk at you latter.

helping hands shirts to shirts

hello family
so this week has been super crazy.
well start off the week on Monday i just tried to get everything ready to go. packing and saying goodbye to people. this is my second to last time packing up and moving out. it was sad to leave altus but you know it needed to happen some time. and i guess its good it happened because 8 months in one area would have been crazy. i would have been super sad to leave it then.
on Tuesday it was transfer day. before we left i when to say good bye to one of our investigators but the grandpa came out on the porch and yelled at us and told us to get off the property. it was super crazy i don't know why he did that. but what ever. then we made the long drive up to Moore. its a mad house up there, power is out in half the city. lights aren't working at all. and most of the restaurants are out of power as well. so yea. so a little bit of back ground story, you usually go to a trainers meeting about a week before transfers to help you become a better trainer. but because of all the mess i did not. and then you usually go to transfers early to meet your new greeny. but that didn't happen as well. the new missionaries got right off the plane and came straight  to transfers and to there area. they were interviewed by president and then he sent them on there way. so my new comps name is elder kitterman. he is from Arizona (thats two in a row) and he seems like a nice guy. kind of a dry sense of humor, you know now that i think about it he kind of reminds me of tyler.. anyways he is not one of the 18 year old missionaries but he turned in his papers early so he turned 19 in the mtc. but if you look at him he looks 24. in fact the other missionaries in cushing told the ward that they were getting a new guy and another missionary and one member looked at me and said you must be the new one, fresh off the plane. ugg anyways.
so that night we just spent visiting the members and less actives in our area. the place im at is even smaller than altus. the ward is small. but at least its a ward. but it gets alot of rain up there so its suuuuper green. like definitely ten times prettier than altus and down south. the tree's are green there is water every were. and the wild life if all over. (dad this is for you, i have seen about 50 turkeys in about 3 days and not in the same group or place)
we share a ward with another set of missionaries. so they split the area. and now we get half of cushing and they get half. but half is like two blocks by three blocks. the other elders in the ward is named elder hort and elder Stephen. elder hort i have served around before he has been out almost as long as i have. and elder Stephen is been out only one transfer. he is from the Marshal islands. (just like elder damon my trainer)
so the other elders have been showing us around the area. showing us who our investigators are and who the members are as well. there is only about three investigators that we have so it will be a crazy time until we can find some new ones.
Thursday there was a tornado that hit cushing. so we had to go down and get into a storm shelter for about three hours. it was super crammed with 6 people in a space about five square feet. the storm was very violent but thankfully it didnt do almost any damage to the town. it mostly hit on the outskirts. so after the tornado we went out tracking. i think it humbled alot of people because we got like 6 new people to teach in the space of about an hour.
then on friday was district meeting. my first one as a district leader. so what a district leader does is he basically oversees a group of missionaries. so im like the manager of two sets of missionaries. i just have to make sure there doing ok. but the biggest responsibility is i have to conduct district meeting and do training every week. the training is kind of like giving a talk in sacrament meeting. but you only have 8 subjects go to off of. and also these subjects they have heard every week for their whole mission. so you kind of have to switch it up other wise your going to get people falling asleep on you.
so this week i did a training on giving commitments to our investigators. plus the zone leaders are there (there like a step over me) so its kind of intimidating. but what ever i'll live. then right after district meeting there was another tornados that hit oklahoma. so we spent another three hours at a member house. making sure we weren't going to die.
Saturday we had a special meeting in moore with elder rasband of the seventy. and then after we did service. the crazy part is we did not wear a suit and tie to the meeting we wore our helping hands shirt. we had too and that was the uniform of the day. so super crazy. then right after the meeting we went out and cleaned up this huge park. we did that for about five hours than we went home.
then Sunday was the craziest sunday of my mission. we had an hour church in Norman with a combined three stakes. but it was the same thing as the meeting with the seventy. you didnt wear dress clothes you wore jeans and a t shirt. to church. the deacons passed the sacrament in there yellow shirts. it was super crazy. everything had to be by special permission, President Monson had to approve the whole thing. then after church we went and served for another ten hours in a place called little ax. cleaning up and taking down tree's.
but that is about it for this week, crazy crazy beans. i cant believe all that has happened this week. i wish i could talk to you on the phone and tell you every thing because i cant adequately describe all that has taken place. i will send some pic's or something. because there worth a 1000 words.
well i love you all so very much and i pray for you.

Clean up…District Leader….Moving to Cushing….and training a New Elder

Hello family
so dad you shouldn't feel that bad. because like one second after you text-ed president Taylor called and said every one text your family and let them know that your alright. so you just beat me to the punch. im glad you love me. enough to break the rules.
but this week has been crazy! lots of tornado clean up. between me and elder rumsey we did 48 hours of tornado clean up, and were going back at least twice a week for the next couple of months. the devastation there is super crazy. like the news doesn't show the half of it. just one big mess. most of the time we spent just sorting through stuff. like one pile of stuff to burn, stuff to keep, junk, and metal. there was this big group of tree's and like half of the house was entangled in the tree's and most of another house was sunk into the tree's. so we just sawed down fifteen tree's and got the house out of there. i don't know words cant describe how terrible it looked. there was about 1000 volunteers that we worked with. and if we didnt have that many the stuff we got done would have taken a whole week. it just looked like an impossible task but when we worked together we got alot done. and people came in form all over the country there were people there form new york and from California. we had the Mormon helping hands shirts on. and alot of people were asking what group we were from. so many people were so thankful for our help. we were not suppose to be missionary's there. like we could talk to people about the church but we weren't suppose to give away book of Mormons or anything.
we helped this family take down part of there house and put it in a big trash pile. it was super sad because they had just got through building this house and it was just destroyed. there were still tv's in packages that were busted and couches that had wraping paper on it that were tour apart. and because they hadn't finished the house the insurance wont cover anything. so it's a total loss. but those people weren't sad. in all reality they looked happy. the material positions didn't matter to them it was there family. there were so great full that none of them got hurt. they said money, and houses can be replaced family can not. it was so inspiring.
but any ways. im glad that i could help. and im so grateful that you guys are safe back home. and that this didn't happen to us.
so yes im still getting transferred to cushing. yes were going to be cleaning up for the rest of the mission but im still going to the new area with the new missionary. i also found out that im going to be district leader. that is super crazy and alot of responsibility for the next month and a half. i guess i need it or something. this will definitely keep me in line for the last little bit. there will be no room to slip up at all. (not that i slip up before or anything) so i will let you know how it goes this first week.
transfers are today in about five hours so i don't have alot of time. if i have the opportunity i will write you a big letter. ok. and let you know how every thing is.
but on the missionary side of things. we had a great week. we are teaching this lady, and she came to church this week. and loved it. she got alot of fellowship from the sisters in the ward. so hopefully elder rumsy will be able to baptize her in the next transfer. along with  all our other investigators that we have. man im going to miss this place. yea it is small and not alot of missionary work here. but it was still a good area. and definitely the longest ive spent in one area. saying goodbye to people as a missionary is really awkward as well. because you cant hug them you cant say i love you. or anything. so its just a hand shake and a wave good bye. but i wish i could hug some of these people. there so nice to me and the missionary's. as a going away present the vermillian family bought me a lasso. (there like $50) that's just too nice. i feel so blessed to be serving in this area. and be serving in this mission.  and for helping all of the people in Moore.
well i guess that is it for this week i love you all so much and i care about you form the bottom of my heart (and also the top) you are the greatest family ever. and i miss you like crazy but not enough to get trunky.
LOVE ELDER PAYTON CLEMENTS
thanks for writing me the letters.

Got a email from the Mission President and He will buy boots and gloves and go help in Moore now for who knows how long......

This email was sent before the tornado so everything has changed now.
Hello family
man using the internet at the library only using it once a week. you guys could be missionaries. lol is there alot of creepers at the library in utah i forget. because there definitely is here. the guy next to me smells like he hasnt taken a shower since last year. and two down there is a guy thats looking at some little girls face book account. creep stach.
anyways. so life is great. all kind of fun stuff going on.
Monday we played Frisbee golf because it wasn't that windy. elder rumsey was bored  out of his mind. but that's ok. its better than sitting in the apartment. we try ed a bunch of people that night but nothing went through.
Tuesday. we saw this lady named kathy i swear every one we come in contact with is named kathy. but we taught her the plan of salvation with the bishop. which is huge because bishop hates missionary work. well he doesn't hate it but he doesn't have a testimony of it. (yet) the lesson went well she said she would love to be with her family forever. but was a little hesitant about be baptized. we see her again tomorrow. so hopefully we can get her than.
Wednesday. we taught this gay kid. it was crazy. he is super interested. but i don't know if its in the gospel or me. (awww, get back Satan!) but the lesson went well he said he would come to church next Sunday. because his old church pretty much hates him after he came out of the closet. he hasnt done anything yet just he said he has those feelings. so  hopefully we can get him converted before its too late. we told him that he could become a Mormon in less than two months. and his whole family too. he seemed somewhat excited about that.
on friday was exchanges. elder Anderson came down to altus with me. he's a cool guy but i hate him because he beat me in an arm ressal. but as soon as we got back to altus we had an appointment with one our investigators. its that iraq guy and his wife. the lesson went super good and bad at the same time. good for rocky the husband. and his wife aww not so much. rocky said that he would read and pray and get baptized if he found out this was true. he said "there is a reason for god letting you come here. and i need to learn form you" but kathy she had her brick wall up. o guys im all ready a baptist. i grew up that and i only need the bible. blah blah blah. anyways though she was helpfull at times. she said if i found out this was true then i would have to join your church other wise god would be pissed at me. and were like yep.
Saturday we helped re shingle this guys roof. first we had to take all of the old ones off. and there was two layers of them and then we had to put the new ones back on. really hard work remind me to get a cologe education so i dont have to do that for a living. not that had work is bad. but man im really sore today form all of the pulling up on those shingles. you had to get this shovel and tear them off. and the shovel had some crazy spikes on it to help pull the nails out. but i know what im using just in case a zombie attack happens.
BUT here is the word of the day. the AP's called on Saturday and told me that im shotgun training a new missionary in a new area. im going to this place called cushing its far up north. next to still water. im excited and nerves at the same time. this is alot of responsibility to have. especially my last month. so wish me luck. im leaving altus on the 29th and going to my new area. and then form there it will be home ward bound. (just like the cats and the dog)
well thats it for this week. i love you all so much keep me and my new comp in your prayers.

We got his flight plans!!!!!!! 7 am on the 11 of July!!!!! 58 days

hello family
this is kind of going to be a short email as well because you know i talked to you last night.Which was awesome!
so here are some things that happened this week
sunday i called you. best mothers day ever! went to church that was fun. but it was super sad because for the speakers a guy was asked to talk that his wife died less than a year ago. and he has four teenage girls to take care of. lets just say it wasn't that tradishinal mothers day talk.
i had to force elder rumsey to call home. because he didnt want to talk to his mom. but i told him its not about you its about her. this inst your day its hers. i don't care what she did to you or how much you think she doesnt care about you she is still your mother and gave birth to you. so he called home and loved it. what a crazy kid.
we had zone conference this week. and it was my very last one. witch i thought i had one more. so its a tradition in this mission that your last meeting you get up and bare your testimony about your mission. so i did and it was super sad i almost cried. because im going to miss this. it only happens once and its almost over.
but the rest of the meeting was great. it was also president taylors last meeting. so i got a picture with him and sister taylor. man they have played such a big roll in my mission and im sure the rest of my life. good thing there only about five minutes away. so i can visit them any time i want.
but the rest of this week we have been working hard and knocking allot of doors. and for some weird reason every body we run into just happens to be named kathy? (i think its some under ground plot to freak us out, like everybody that belongs to this church, there pastor told them to say there name was kathy when the missionaries came around.)
Monday was zone pday it was fun. we played ultimit frizbee. it was fun my team one. but just by one point. but it was a really fun pday compared to the rest of them in this area.
but thats pretty much for this week. i love you all so much and i will talk at you latter

last weeks email

Hello family.
so im sorry but im going to have to cut this one semi short. because i have to be in lawton in about 2 hours and its an hour drive up there. because its zone pday. i would say forget about zone pday if i wasnt calling you this weekend. witch is going to be super crazy. two phone calls in the same area. what a trip. but yea i think i will call at about 2:30 your time or about 3:30 my time if thats ok. yea invite dakota, and anybody that wants to talk with me. nana, papa, jake, tyler, who ever. i definitely want to talk to you guys the most but every body else is a bonus.
so this week has been great. on Monday. i got a hair cut and its short again. sister jones she always cuts it shorter than i like. but whatever you cant beat free. but they were talking with me and they said you know were moving to Italy in six months and if you and your future wife wants to hunny moon there we'll let you stay at our house. kind of cool.
then after that i was just looking around at alot of stores and this one store has a bunch of western were. and they said that they could give me a discount of 25% (you know im a sucker for sales) so i bought a cowboy hat for 15 dollars. then we were looking around and found madder (like ta-madder with out the TA!) its this old beat up tow truck with eyes painted on it.
then on Tuesday we helped out this old lady in the ward. and we were cleaning out here garage and there was this old bag and she was just like throw what ever is in that bag away. so i looked in the bag and there was two cowboy hats in it. i asked if she still wanted them gone? she said i could have them. SWEET! so now i have two straw hats and a nice felt hat its made out of beaver skin. the price tag says $330 (guess i should have waited to buy that hat)
on Wednesday we went up to the city for the greeny meeting. it was a meeting for all the new missionaries and there trainers. really good. i have never driven so much in my life. but its worth it to get that spiritual boost. man the mission is great. normally you have to wait until general conference for a spiritual boost. but here you get it about once a month. i love devoting my time to the lord its so rewarding.
o that brings up another story.
So once upon a time this lady stopped us on the side of the road and asked us if we were jahova witnesses. we told her no and she said good if you were i would of had to yell at you or run you over. because apparently two J Dubs came to her house and made fun of her husband and just mocked him for his testimony on Jesus Christ. so we said were  Mormon so she said you guys can come on over.
so we went over to there house and talked with them and they asked lots and lots of questions about us and about missionary work. and the husband his name is rocky was so impressed with what we did and how devoted we are. he said we need to meet every week. because this is the most beautiful thing that i have ever heard. he also said that we are going to meet together until im converted to your faith. perfect.
Saturday we help a guy break into his house. but it was easy all we had to do was open a window and unlock the door.
we also are helping this lady quite smoking. she has been wanting to quit for a wile but she just didn't know how. so we showed here our 15 step program and she has been smoke free for 3 days now and she just needs 4 more and she will never want to smoke again.
Lauren thanks for being a good missionary. remember never forget to stand up for what you believe in even if its with your friends. but all ways be willing to share the gospel with others. because it has blessed your life in so many ways, so why not share it. man i remember missionary week. it was great i think it has really helped me on my mission. its kind of a tast of what the real mission field is like.
well i love you all so very much keep up the good work and i will talk to you on Sunday.

Snakes

hello family
so this week has been good. and crazy. im going to work my way backwards because it will be easier for me to remember. so on Sunday me and elder rumsey were asked to give talks in sacrament meeting. not that big of a deal. but they had to be about 20 min a piece. so that was kind of scary. i don't think i have ever given a talk for that long before. it was on dedication. i prepared all week for it. and by all week i procrastinated until Saturday and Sunday. but elder rumsey was really nerves to talk. he is not a man of many words in the first place. so we got our talks done on Sunday at a bout 9:00 am. and i had elder rumsey give his talk to me first. so he started speaking and i timed it. so when he finished i stopped the clock and it was 2 minutes long. im like are your freaking kidding me you need 18 more minutes. so he wrote and wrote and wrote. and gave it to me again. and this time it was 5 minutes. (15 more to go) so he wrote on the way to church and in the foyer before. we looked at the program and he was first. so the time finally came for him to speak. and the grand total time was 6 min 11 seconds. i was kind of nerves before but now all of a sudden i have to speak for 14 extra minutes. ugghhh
so i get up there and speak and speak and speak. and i was only 20 minutes in. dang im all out of things to say. so i read a whole section in D&C. and boar my testimony on every thing i could think of. i made a joke that im going to sing for the last five minutes of my talk. so total i spoke for 27 min 29 sec. so a member of the bishopric had to get up and speak for the rest of the time. people told me i did good. but i knew i rambled a lot to make up some time.
Saturday was a special day. it was the rattle snake round up in mangum. a member took us for lunch there. so its a festival were every body goes out to try to catch as many snakes as possible. and there is contests for the biggest snake and the heaviest and so forth. but why the member took us there for lunch is so that we could eat snake. man it was gross. they deep fat fried it. so it was greasy and stuff. plus it was still on the bones. so it was hard to eat as well. it kind of tased like rubber o rings dipped in oil. then after eating it they took us to the back were they kill them and butcher them. there was this big black guy that was just about to start on a fresh snake. and he started cutting up this snake and stuff. took of the head with a hatchet and then started skinning the thing. the head was still biting and stuff. and he started taking out the guts. he slapped this purple organ on the table. and said hey you in the suit. come over here. so i walked over and he was like eat that. "what is that" i asked. he said it was a snake gal bladder. so i picked it up expecting him to stop me and say jk. then he was like go on. so i popped it in my mouth chewed it up and swallowed it. probably the grossest texture i have ever had in my mouth. it was still warm and moving when ate it. the best way i could describe it would be a giant gusher fruit snack. with out the strawberry flavor. but i acted as if it tasted good. but only because 30 people were watching me. and elder rumsey was filming it.  but any ways after that we went home. and taught this guy the restoration and he just basically told us all of the problems he is facing in his life and all of the problems he used to be facing. man its hard to take all of that stuff. in i will tell you one thing. my life is good. really good. i get to wake up ever day and make some soup its the best. i get to sleep in my bed all by my self its fantastic! (name that movie)
Friday was district meeting. we had waffels for lunch. and our district is super big now. we have 11 people in it now. its probable the biggest district in the mission. heck the quail creek zone only has 12 missionary's in it.
but the rest of the week is going good. training is fun but its a challenge because he doesn't know anything about missionary work. but here is the kicker he thinks he does. so he trys to tell me im doing things wrong but im not. and i just smile and say thank you for the advise elder. thank you for pointing that out to me. its funny but you just kind of have to roll with it. because all new missionaries are the exact same way. im trying to teach him everything i know. and trying to help him understand the things that happen in this mission. how people have there agency and they can choose to accept or reject the gospel. and just because we made plans doe sent mean there all ways going to go through.  and that's why we make back up plans and back up to those back ups. and if an appointment falls through or an investigator drops us its OK life goes on. you just have to look at the positive things in life.
its really funny to because looking back i was the exact same way. told elder damond what to do. and thought he was doing it all wrong. but really he was a great missionary. im going to have to look him up when i get home and apologize. for everything.
but i guess i will talk to you in two weeks on the phone. what time would you like me to call?
but thats it for this week i love you so much and keep up the good work.

It was a typo :)

Hello family
so yea i got the new guy and things are going great. i cant complain one bit. its so different but great. a real challenge but I'm up to it. the ward is super pumped for the greeny because there hasn't been one here for ever. they have a thing called greeny fire. its were they know no boundaries and there are super ready and willing to do what ever you or the lord asks them to do. and there going to do it in a hurry.
my new comps name is elder Rumsey he is from Arizona. he is all about the military 100% he wants to be a Marine or something. i know he wants to shoot people. (o great).
let me get into the story of how i met him. so Wednesday morning i had to get up at around 5am in order to get to Lawton on time in order to get to the city on time. when i got to Lawton i was supposed to meet some other elders in order to take them up to the city as well. but by the time i got to Lawton guess who was not there yet. so we waited for about a half an hour and they finally showed up. stinking Texas. (jk charity) then we got there stuff in the car and headed off. it was raining that day so we had a tarp over everyone stuff. so a three hour drive up. then i got to the training meeting (late) and they gave us advice on how to be a good first missionary and stuff. one of the things they said for us to do was let the new missionary make the goals for the area.
so after that they brought us all into the chapel to meet all the new missionary's. we shook all of there hands first before we were assigned our comp. so as i was going down the line there was this particular elder that didn't smile and did not look happy to be there. then i knew who my new comp was. so they started announcing who is with who. and guess who i got the frowny elder. i knew the lord had a sence of humor. so the rest of transfers we said hi and good bye to every one i knew. elder neild is going home. man in going to miss that kid. and just trying to introduce my son to every one i knew. (son is a term that the new missionary gets, because im training him. so im his dad) (who's yo daddy)
then we had the long ride back. i had elder shupe and elder beams in my car. so two missionaries that i love the most i got to take back to Lawton. so it was a fun trip back.
then we had lunch and went back to our area. by the time we had made it back to altus there was a tornado warning and we had to stay inside. the rest of the night. and if things got worse we had to get into a shelter. so there was a tornado that touched down in altus but it missed the town by about 20 miles. it was sad that night we were supposed to eat dinner with this family that specifically singed up for the fist meal of his mission. and we couldn't go. so they had to bring it to us. everything was green. green pasta, salad, green jello, green cake, green drinks. it was really clever of them. but to bad we didn't get to eat it with them.
Thursday we had weekly planning and i let elder rumsey make the goals. so this area is kind of struggling with the work. not because of our part but because of agency and the ward not being very missionary minded. but any ways so our new goals for the transfer is 5 baptisms, 15 dates, 25 investigators at church, 100 member presents, 72 new investigators, and 50 less actives at church. those are some crazy good numbers. I'm really excited for this transfer its going to be the best one yet. this new missionary knows no limit for all he knows this is the best area in the mission. and that we can make those numbers every day of the week. so I'm just going to follow his drive. he will get the gas and i will steer.
but for the rest of the week the area has exploded. lots of new people to see and things to do. i know the lord is preparing this area for something great.
Saturday and Sunday we had the opportunity to hear Neal l Anderson of the 12 speak and give a training. it was really good. lots of new experiences and insights on how we can better make the work flow. i got to shake his hand. and talk to him for a second. he is a really nice guy and really funny. he told this story about his grandson that hit his other grandson. when he asked why he had done such a thing. the grandson replied well i lost my CTR ring and now i cant choose the right.
on Sunday we got to go to Lawton to see him speak again but this time just to the steak. he gave another really good talk. when i was there i also saw all of the people down in Wichita falls. they were really excited to see me again. it good to be remembered. even if it is just as hey your the missionary that played the uke.
well i guess thats it for this week i love you all so much. Lauren how did you like prom was it the best? did he open the door for you every time? would you do anything diffrent if you could?
mom dad i got your package. thank you so much. its all ways good to get mail. but what is with the first song on that cd you made? and try not to swear in my emails anymore ok mom. (that D**, A raccoon) lol that was just probably a typo. but if it wasn't you can all ways fakatumala (that repent in tongan)
love you dad your the best.
well i best be heading off but i love you and i will talk at you latter.

pictures :)

hi family
so im not training just quite yet. i get the new guy on Wednesday. so he is coming but i don't have him yet. elder Burnett got his transfer call and his is going to Norman. (its like Mormon with an N) and all kinds of crazy things are going on with our district. i found out that elder shupe is coming to Lawton. so he will be in my district. im super pumped i love that kid and i haven't seen him since i served with him almost a year ago. were also getting a new set of missionaries in Lawton so our district just jumped form 9 to 11 missionaries. and a new zone is going to be made out of Texas. wow all kinds of happiness. I'm glad that i got to serve around elder Burnett but im super pumped to be training. and so is the ward. i told them and there really excited to be getting a brand new missionary.
i haven't gotten your package but i think its because the office is holding mail until Wednesday for transfers. which

I'm not excited for the drive. i will have to drive to Moore 3 times in the space of 10 days. and each trip is about 300 miles.  once for the trainer meeting (witch i all ready had) once for transfers, and once for a mission conference with Neal A. Anderson. he is coming on Saturday and he is coming to meet our mission. plus there is speculation that he might split the mission boundaries. but that is just hearsay.
on Thursday i went to the trainer meeting and it is one of the best meeting i have ever been to in my life. i learned so much! just as much as conference or anything. it was all talking about how to help your new missionary out and how to be the best missionary your self. there is 25 new missionaries coming into the mission and 32 trainers. that's almost a 1/3rd of the mission. im so glad that i have the opportunity to serve at this time. to see this growth and change. the lords word true ly is hastening. and im a part of it. one of the cool things that they did in the meeting is they had a recording of moms on the phone. they Ap's asked them questions about what they wanted there son's/ daughters first comp to be like. and just the answers they gave made me want to be better. made me want to be the best! its kind of scary but really cool all at the same time. these moms are trusting us to take care of there son for the first few weeks of there mission. and in my opinion the most important weeks. also i found out that im the oldest person training in the mission right now. (not oldest age wise but mission wise) the next oldest has only been out 15 months so i feel honored to be training at such an crucial time in my mission. the final stretch, the endure to the end stage. but overall a really good meeting i wish that i could have gone to one sooner. i thing that every missionary should have the opportunity to at least go to the meeting. because i learned so much about my self and so much about obedience.
the drive there and back wasn't to fun but i got to meet a really cool missionary named elder curry. this is his first time training as well but he is training two missionaries at the same time.  one that is permanent and one that is here just waiting for his visa.
on Wednesday we had our final meeting with Brian. (the dry Mormon) he is leaving back to DC this week so it was our final opportunity to meet with him. he is such a cool guy and im glad that i got to teach him. at the very end of the lesson he was like you know i want to get baptized. i want my family to be there and i want this for me. such a cool experience this hard hearted man (toward the church) to being able to be humble enough for the spirit to touch him. i hope i get an invite to his Baptism even though i might not make it.
Friday was exchanges with elder Nelson and elder Christensen. there crazy but fun. they came down to altus and by far it was the most successful exchange that i have ever been on. because usually you don't get to see anybody on exchanges but this time we had 4 appointments go through. elder Burnett's bike broke so he borrowed elder Nelson's and i borrowed a members bike so elder nelson borrowed mine. kind of a weird situation but anyways i borrowed a road bike form a member and now i want one. its so much easier to go fast and to petal. maybe when i get home.
Idk sorry this one is so short i dont really know what to say. i will sent you a tape if i get the opportunity. and tell you a little more about the week. but i love you all so much good luck with your student council Lauren. your my inspiration. mom dad your the best parents a missionary could ask for. Courtney i love you to. and Zack even though you don't write me.  lol
i love you all so very much

I'm A Trainer

Hello family
wow this week has been crazy but good. crazy-good.
so Monday was April fools and i didn't play any jokes but some members of the district did. the zone leaders broke into the district leaders apartment and moved everything around and played Mexican music really loud when they got home. sometimes im glad to be out in the middle of know were. no one messes with your stuff this way.
so for the pday we played Frisbee golf because there is a course here in altus its right by the lake and its really nice. it was fun we Finally found something to do here.  but that night we helped a family move houses in the ward. there really cool and really willing to help. so it was no problem helping them move.
Tuesday we tried some people and ended up seeing this guy in the ward that served a mission but is now less active. so we went to help him strengthen his faith and we ended up teaching his roommate. so that was great.
we had a goal this week to find seven investigators in seven days. so we have been trying really hard to get those. everyday finding new  people and asking every body that we know for referrals. its been a real faith builder to me because this area is hard to find people to teach. but we made our goal. the lord provides.
we saw Brian this week as well we taught him every one of the lessons except the law of Chastity so we decided to teach him that one. its all ways kind of awkward to teach but it needs to be done. any ways he asked us about the temple as well so we talked about that and all of the crazy rumors about the temple and stuff. here are a few new ones i heard. that the reason were so happy when we leave the temple is because we kill our selves and then get resurrected. (so what happens if we go twice?) then that old men play basketball naked in the temple. both so crazy the stories people come up with.  here is a story one of the senior couples told me named brother moffet. he said when he was on his mission in south Africa, he was able to open up an area that had never had missionaries before. so as soon as they got off the train there was a welcoming party. and a preacher got up and was like "we know what you are all about. we know that you have a tunnel form under the salt lake city temple to here in Africa and your hear to steal us and take us back through the tunnel".  so elder moffet and his comp look at each other and said "you know if were smart enough to build a tunnel that long then you had better listen to what we have to say"
Thursday we Finally saw alex (the one i taught in Moore) and his grandma and grandpa. the lesson went great untill the very end. because they didn't understand the whole one true church and authority. and its all ways hard to get past that road block especially because her dad was a minister. but Alex is great it was really good to see him again. he says that he is so excited to get baptized and cant wait. im really happy for him.
on Friday big surprise president Taylor showed up to our district meeting. he just sat thought and listened to the whole thing it was kind of cool and scary at the same time. our district leader was super nerves to do the training but it turned out ok. then after he waned to interview me and the district. so i was very last, and i got in there he asked me a couple of question about if i was excited to go home, what were my plans, how is my mission going, that kind of stuff. then he asked if i thought i wanted to train a new missionary. i told him i would love to. he then said well ok then next transfer your getting a new missionary. he told me that a trainer is the biggest responsibility that a president can give to a missionary. bigger than district leader, zone leader or even assistant to the president. because the whole rest of the mission and even life of the new missionary is going to kind of rely on his first couple of transfers. because this is were he is going to learn the mission rules and what a good missionary does. (ahwwww)
then he told me that this new missionary just got into the mtc on Wednesday and his mom i praying so hard that his trainer is a good missionary. that's a lot of responsibility but president knows i can handle it. and im going to try my very hardest to make this the best two years FOR his life.
Saturday and Sunday were amazing i love conference on the mission! you only get four and that was my last one. i loved all the talks and how power full they were. i loved Bednars and all so hollands. but every one was good. i liked the tomato plant analogy and potential we have. i thought the story about shaking every ones hand was super funny.  and i loved the power of the prophets talk. everybody talk was kind of on obedience and that was great. another thing i saw was alot of self worth talks. both things we all need to improve upon.
well i guess that's it for this week.
i didn't see the sealing yet. it wont happen for a couple more weeks. so im pumped up for that. glad things are going well back home. i keep praying for you all and know the best thing i can do right now is be serving the lord. i know this Gospel is true and i know that it has blessed my life 100 fold. im so glad to be a missionary at this crucial time in the world. and glad to be serving the lord.
i love you all so much and i will talk to you next week and then call you in about a month. keep the family strong.
love Elder Clements

I've got a joke for you

hello, hello family
so this week has been good. i guess i will start out with Monday. we had zone pday and we all went up to the highest point in Oklahoma. Mt. Scott. its not that tall at all. but hey at least its something. there was alot of issues with the zone that day but we ended up going anyways. like one of the elders down in Texas got this really bad nose bleed. and he had to go to the hospital to get it stopped. but overall it was really fun. we did an Easter egg hunt at the top. we had two teams and went on different sides of the mountain and hid the eggs. then swaped sides and who ever found all the eggs first won. it was all good except it was like 20 degrees colder at the top than at the bottom. so most people were cold. than after that we had a specialized training meeting with the whole zone. it was on unity and working together and stuff. because a couple of members in the zone are not getting along. im glad im not in that boat. one thing i have learned on the mission is that if you don't have anything nice to say dont say nothing at all. (thank you thumper)
Tuesday we went and saw that lady that we did her dishes. this time she just wanted help again. so we decided that we shouldn't see her anymore because she is just looking for free labor. i mean we would love to help but we got other things to do. and were here to teach not do dishes. then we were knocking on doors and we ran across this family. they weren't going to let us in but then all of a sudden there cat got out and so we helped chase it down and they let us in to pray with them. so we asked if there was anything they would like us to pray for and they said not really, everything is good. so i was explaining how we pray and they were like "O i know what you could pray for. pray that they legalize gay marriage" so it was elder Burnett's turn. and you could tell that he was not happy to pray about this. so he prayers and its not like he could just leave it out because they would definitely notice. so he kind of paused dunning the prayer and was like let they will be done on the political topics of the day. talk about an awkward thing to pray for. they might as well ask for us to pray for our church to fall apart. ugh. but anyways they said we could come back. but i don't know if we will or not.
Wednesday we had to get passes to get on the air force base. so right before we were about to leave elder Burnett says that he doesn't know his social security number. and that is one of the things that you need in order to get a pass. so we were freaking out trying to call every one that might just happen to know it. the office president Taylor and asking them to call his mom so we could get it. basically they guy that was going to hook us up with the passes is only available by appointment. and he is not a member but he likes the missionaries. so we set up this appointment and now we cant get passes. so finally the guys says maybe we could look it up or something. so we got there and they basically hacked the system for him and found his number. kind of cool but kind of scary what the government can do at the same time.
then that night we saw Brian (the dry Mormon) and taught him tithing and fasting. the lesson when super great. its awesome the change that i could see in him. because he went from WHY? WHY? WHY? to OK that makes sense, and i think i believe that to. so i think he will get baptized really soon. maybe not here but when he goes home again.
Friday we had district meeting and the AP's came for it. the training was good. our district leader was nerves because of the authority being there. but we went to chick-fa-la after and i really like that place. not because the food is the best but because they say have a blessed day when you leave. and there is a cross in the restaurant. its kind of cool to know that some one else stands up for what they believe in. than that night we had a dessert auction for the ward young women. every body brought dessert and then people bid on them. one thing that me and elder Burnett were going to bid on and try to win was this Oreo pie/cake. it was like five pounds of awesomeness! so we decide that we would each pay about 15 bucks a peace if it came down to it. so the bidding was off and it started of at five then we bid ten. and it just kept going up and up an up. every body wanted that cake. so finally we bid 30(our max) and some one bid 35. then bro Bolton handed us a twenty and said keep going. so we kept biding and i got to 50 then some one bid 55 and then 60 and were like no way were paying 65 dollars for a cake. so we were done. and bro Parker bought it. then we walked over and gave us the cake and said don't eat it all in one day. aw it was aw some that was really nice of him. $65 for a cake! and then to just give it away.
Saturday was good. we taught some lessons and visited some people. ate some $65 cake.
Sunday was good it was Easter. in case you forgot. we ate at this old Lady's house with like all of the other old people in the ward. so it was crazy but fun. definitely a generation gap between us. o here is a joke they told.
there was once a primary teacher that wanted her class to draw pictures form the bible. stories they like and ones that they thought were important. so the first kid gets up and shows his picture. its Noah and the ark, the second kid gets up and he drew moses parting the red sea. then a boy gets up and hold up a picture of an old guy driving a car with two naked people in the back. so the teacher was confused and asked what is this? the boy says this is god driving Adam and eve out of the garden of Eden. (hahahahahah get it its a joke)
but i guess that's it for his week. glad things are going well in your neck of the woods. i love you more than you can imagine
love your favorite missionary elder clements

grateful

hi family
so this week has been a trip let me tell ya.
i got your package. by the way, and thank you so much for that it did help my week go alot smother. i have showed that video to alot of people. and challenged them to invite there friends to the Gospel. so far a couple of people are on the ball. but most are still working on it.
so here are a couple of things that happened this week. Monday was pday. we helped this lady move all of her crap form one room to another. it is good doing service but we can do it any day. but we had to do it on a pday. i shouldn't complain. its what the lord would want.
Tuesday was fun. we were tracking down less active people. and there was a old lady on the side of the road that looked like she needed help. so i stoped and asked her if there is anything she needed. she said like what could you do? and i have this joke that i say to everyone to ask if they need help. i say do you need your dog walked, your dishes done, your lawn mowed? but nobody usually takes me up on it. but she was like as a matter of fact i have some dishes that you can do. so were like ok..... so she sh owes us in here house and there is like a pile of dishes about 3 feet high in both sides of the sink and there is also a 30 gallon bucket of dishes on the ground. ahhhhhhh. holy flying squirrels nuts. that's a lot of dishes. she said that she cant stay on her feet to long so she has neglected doing them for the past couple of weeks, so good luck hope your hard workers. and we wernt allowed to be in her house when she was in there. so she went out in the yard to do something and we stayed in her house for about three hours. i felt like i was back in pizza factory again. she didnt have a dish washer. so we had to do them all by hand. then after we were done we went outside and she was gone. so she just left us by ourselves in her house. very trusting. so i left a note on her door and said we would stop by Thursday. then ten minutes after we left we got a phone call form her and she was like can you come back and help me with my food storage. uggggh ok we can help for one more hour. but that's it then we have to go.   so we helped her and she was very thank full.
Wednesday we went up to a small town called Magnum with one of the members. because he had to look at some houses up there. we taught this family up there. that have been less active for about ten years. and they only went to church 3 times in there whole life. and that was the three times needed to get baptized. so needless to say they dont remember a whole lot. but they enjoyed the visit and said they wanted us to come back. than that night we ate with this restaurant called the friendship in. its a motel/restaurant/ apartment complex. they usually have good food there. but that night i got the chicken fired steak (of death) i didn't feel to good after but i just kind of shrugged it off. then i woke up that night and puked my guts out for about three hours. fun fun fun.
so Thursday was spent in the bathroom or next to the bathroom.
Friday was district meeting and me and elder Burnett were in charge of the food. so we had everybody bring waffle stuff. toppings and the whole nine yards. me and elder burnett brought the waffle mix and everybody else brought topping . so we had penuttbutter, chocolate, syrup, bananas, strawberry's, blueberry's, wipcream and nutella. it was super good and super fun making them. we usually eat out but this transfer we have only made homemade stuff. and it is so much better. because we grow together as a district. plus we save money.  but needless to say i didn't eat all of Thursday so Friday i was starving and ate alot. then felt really sick after. i cant have nothin nice.
Saturday we were in and out in and out. try ed to go out and work. then potty break, than try again and round two. we ended up teaching this family and inviting the kids to young men's young women's. it was great because we had the young mens pres there as well. so he helped out alot.
Sunday we helped teach a lesson in church on missionary work and how every member is a missionary. it was great. i hope this ward steps it up a little. and they told this story about president eyering. and how he was going to share the Gospel with one of his friends but didn't, then his friend died. then he had a dream were he was a the judgment and his friend was there and asked him why didn't you tell me about this? you knew and you could have warned me and you didn't. ahhh scary. so the moral of the story is share the Gospel. with everyone!
but that's if for this week. i love you all so much! you are the best! thanks for what you do for me.
love Elder Payton Clements
